EDepending on the problem, the optimum time to begin orthodontic treatment will vary. Your family dentist will be aware of your child's needs and will refer you for a consultation at the appropriate age. However, as a general rule, 8 years of age is a good time for an initial orthodontic examination. At this age examination of the early permanent teeth allows Dr David Mastroianni the opportunity to monitor and prevent any developing orthodontic problems.

If it is deemed too early to begin treatment, your child will be placed on a periodic review at no cost until treatment begins.

NO REFERRAL IS REQUIRED TO SEE AN ORTHODONTIST.
